Malan Jayawickrama completed his B.Sc. Engineering degree specialized in Production Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka in the year 2013. Just after the graduation he joined Department of Production Engineering (Now Manufacturing & industrial Engineering), University of Peradeniya as a Temporary Instructor. Later he was appointed as a research assistant in the same department and started studies for an MPhil degree in area of Sustainable Manufacturing. He was made permanent in service in the same department in the position of Lecturer (Probationary) in 2017.
